The multiple properties of Vitamin E mean it is indispensable to the health of various organs, particularly the heart, the brain, the muscles, the joints, the skin, the digestive system, the eyes and the immune system. This Vitamin acts more particularly at the level of the membranes surrounding our cells by blocking the spread of chain reactions casued by free radicals which normally destroy them.

The best of the product

Our Vitamin E, extracted from palm oil, is complete. It is particularly rich in tocotrienols, found in natural Vitamin E. In fact, synthetic Vitamin E, made in a laboratory, contains hardly anything but alpha tocopherol. Howver, tocotrienols are forms of Vitamin E just as essential to the system.

INGREDIENTS: For 1 capsule: 500 mg of soy and palm oil concentrated in vitamin E (287.64 mg), of which: tocotrienols pures (40.29 mg) [d-Alpha-Tocotrienol (11.73 mg), d-Beta Tocotrienol (1.53 mg), d-Gamma-Tocotrienol (21.42 mg), d-Delta-Tocotrienol (5.61 mg)] and Tocopherols pures (247.35 mg) [d-Alpha-Tocopherol (43.74 mg), d-Beta-Tocopherol (5.28 mg) , d-Gamma-Tocopherol (140.25 mg), d-Delta-Tocopherol (58.07 mg)], plant squalene (10.20 mg) sterol (3.57 mg), carotenoids (51.00 mcg), co-enzyme Q10 (4.39 mcg)

Vitamin E together with vitamin C, the action of which it complements, is one of the main nutrition factors to prevent many degenerations.

Unlike what most of the commercial products make believe, vitamin E is not limited to alpha-tocopherol alone, but shows eight complementary forms: tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta) and tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta). In this way, the consumer innocently believes he is taking a “vitamin E” supplement whereas the efficiency of the product is generally reduced, it can even sometimes be more inconvenient than beneficial when synthetic. Vitamin E must then be compulsively used in its natural and complete form. Some functions of these different vitamin E components are similar, whereas others are entirely different. Furthermore, when taken together they are synergetic and can then offer an optimal health benefit. For these points, we refer to our document "Which vitamin E?"

Vitamin E acts at the lipid (fatty substances) level and is thus found in all our tissues and cell membranes where it plays a key role in fighting the spreading of the chain reaction initiated by free radicals. On the other hand, it is proved that the action of vitamin E is an essential complement to that of important antioxidants such as selenium, reduced glutathiones (GSH), coenzyme Q10, vitamin C and carotenoids. Finally, vitamin E plays an important role at the anti-inflammatory and cardio-vascular levels. Its multiple properties, confirmed by many studies, make it essential to the health of several organs and functions: heart, brain, muscles, articulations, skin, digestive tract, eyes and immune system in particular. A Japanese study showed that a diet rich in SGS reduced the rate of bad cholesterol (LDL), whilst retaining a greater proportion of ‘good’ cholesterol (HDL).

Our body is not able to produce vitamin E and it is hard to find in the food, since the products that contain it use it to prevent rancidification. It has been proved that nearly 100% of the Europeans do not receive the recommended vitamin E intake, however set at a minimum.

According to the specialists, the optimum dosage lies within 200 and 400 mg per day, which is impossible to achieve in the diet alone. Supplements are thus recommended all life long for the whole of the population. In order to be entirely efficient, vitamin E is to be taken during meals, to favor its metabolizing at the level of fats entering the blood circulation. Finally, it is recommended to also take a supplement of vitamin C which, in addition to its own benefits, allows the recycling of vitamin E by the body.
