Marine magnesium
Titrated at over 55%

To overcome bouts of tiredness and stress
Magnesium is essential for many functions of the body. Present in all the body's cells (an adult's body has approx. 25 g of this mineral in total), it participates in over 300 enzymatic reactions among other things. It is particularly essential for maintaining the nervous and muscular balance.

Since the body has no magnesium reserves, it needs a daily and regular intake to meet its requirements. Magnesium deficiency usually leads to states of tiredness and stress. An adjusted intake of magnesium therefore brings relaxation, calm and energy.
Marine magnesium
DM05

Detailed information

Magnesium is one of the essential minerals for the human body. It is essential for many functions of the body. Present in all the body's cells (an adult's body has approx. 25 g of this mineral in total), it participates in over 300 enzymatic reactions. Magnesium contributes to energy production at cellular level as well as to protein synthesis.

Marine magnesium contributes to muscular relaxation (25% stored in the muscles). It also allows the bone structure to be maintained (60 % of the body's magnesium is therefore stored in the bones! ). The rest is divided between the brain and vital organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, etc.… Magnesium therefore has a regulatory effect on intestinal transit.

Magnesium deficiency usually leads to states of tiredness and stress.

In France, almost one in 4 women and one in 6 men are magnesium deficient. Since the body has no magnesium reserves, it therefore needs a daily and regular intake to meet its requirements. The body's requirements vary from 300 to 400 mg per day approximately, but they also vary according to age and sex. Requirements are particularly increased among pregnant women, breastfeeding women and the elderly. Sweating also leads to a significant extraction of magnesium during intense physical activity.

Marine magnesium is particularly suitable for sports people who lose a lot of magnesium through effort when doing physical exercise.

Marine magnesium extraction:

Marine magnesium is a pure seawater extract and the result of a very long (over 5 years) and natural process known for thousands of years!

It all starts in the salt marshes of the Mediterranean which produce salt.

In the first year, the sea water is directed into these salt marshes. Exposure to the sun and the external temperature lead to an evaporation of the surface water. The salt crystals which float to the surface will be "harvested" to form table salt suitable for human consumption. The remaining liquid which has therefore not yet crystallized, is sent to other marshes for a second evaporation cycle. During the second and third years, sulphate, sodium and magnesium crystals are harvested in the same way. The remaining sea water is then left to evaporate for another 2 years. At the end of these 5 years, all that remains is sea water full of magnesium chloride, the latter not being able to form crystals. This residual sea water is transferred into reservoirs, then subjected to evaporation after the chloride has been drained from it, so that it can finally form crystals. After a final purification phase and a standardisation to 55% of magnesium element, the product is sent by dry-pulverization in a fine white powder.

The average composition of marine magnesium is the following: Magnesium oxide 88%, magnesium hydroxide 5% , magnesium sulphate 3% , magnesium carbonate 3% , magnesium chloride 1%.
