| A natural pigment that gives flamingo feathers, salmon and trout and the shell of prawns their pink colour, astaxanthin is a compound from the carotenoid family. It is therefore a powerful anti-oxidant, with known effects on free radicals and in particular a protective action against the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays. It constitutes, in addition to specific cosmetic protection, a useful ally for better protection against the sun. Unlike many cartenoids, astaxanthine does not generate vitamin A (retinol) in the human body. It is well-known that excess vitamins are dangerous for the human body, but this is not the case with astaxanthine. This powerful anti-oxidant can therefore be used as a nutritional supplement without risk. |

INGREDIENTS: For 1 capsule: 40 mg of astaxanthine extracted from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis, titrated at 10 %, i.e. 4 mg, 438.5 mg of carthame oil, 10 mg of colloidal silica, 10 mg of vitamin E alpha acetate, 1.5 mg of beta carotene extracted from Dunaliella algae titrated at 20%.
