An excellent ally for the liver
5% min. of cynarin

The Commission E recognises the use of artichoke leaf to treat dyspepsia, a complex set of digestive symptoms more or less directly linked to non-functional disorders (i.e. not due to an organic lesion) of the hepatobiliary system.
Used since ancient times, it was only in the mid-20th century that we were able to isolate from it the compound to which the artichoke owes its reputation: cynarine.
Cynarine stimulates secretion of bile and fights liver problems (alcoholic cirrhosis, toxins, hepatitis...).
It was even synthesised and used as a medication until the 1980s, to stimulate the liver and gall bladder as well as to lower cholesterol levels.
Artichoke is also useful against arteriosclerosis, anemia, alcoholic cirrhosis, all kinds of toxins or hepatitis.
Our extract of artichoke standardised to contain 5% of cynarine. A level which guarantees the best effectiveness.
The artichoke reduces basal and postprandial glycaemia1, its content in inulina helps to control the levels of glucose and triglycerides in blood2 bringing benefits to people with diabetes.
