Estradiol or the femininity hormone

Oestradiol is a specifically female hormone, mainly produced by the ovaries. It is responsible for the shape of the female body and menstruation, ensures good moods, physical endurance, ardour and enthusiasm. Oestradiol also stimulates the desire to love and sexual desire.
In order to regulate their oestradiol rate, women who are still menstruating should eat sufficiently, particularly proteins and fat, and to avoid wholegrain cereals (the fibre absorbs oestrogen in the faeces). You should also cut down on smoking and coffee and take vitamin B6.
