Quality policy (Read more)

The key goal of Anastore.com is the satisfaction of its customers and partners. It is committed to fulfilling their requirements and to complying with legislation and regulations applicable to the product and with environmental legislation and regulations.

Anastore.com applies the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard. These standards require continuous improvements in quality, environmental management and workplace health and safety management. This is on top of protecting the environment, preventing contamination and ensuring the highest possible quality and customer satisfaction.

New product design and development

Anastore.com designs its products based on the European Pharmacopoeia. It also adheres to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), European Community recommendations on herbal medicine, the list of permitted health claims made on foods laid down in Commission Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 of 16 May 2012 and the health claims of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

Anastore.com has a multidisciplinary RD&I department consisting of skilled phytotherapy and nutrition specialists who are experts in selecting the most appropriate plant species for each health need. The department’s main purpose is to develop new products by applying the strictest scientific rigour, in compliance with relevant European legislation and in response to customers’ core needs.

The RD&I department stays up to date with the latest advances in phytotherapy and nutraceuticals. This means that our products are the result of major, authoritative scientific research that always follows the strictest safety and efficacy criteria.

Anastore’s RD&I department is also responsible for an ongoing process of reducing and eliminating additives and excipients from its formulas, guaranteeing a clean label philosophy.

Raw material selection

One of Anastore.com’s prerequisites during manufacture is the use of high-quality raw materials. We source our plant extracts from rigorously selected suppliers who meet our quality expectations and comply with the relevant legislation on microbiological criteria, heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminants, organoleptic properties, origin, production and testing methods and percentages of active principles.

Another key factor in the selection of raw materials sourced from plants is the mode of agricultural production. Anastore has been awarded organic certification under Regulation (EU) No 2018/848 on the organic production and labelling of organic products.

Besides analysing the organoleptic properties of raw materials, we only select the materials with the best aromas and tastes on the market.

Safety and traceability

Anastore.com’s activities, as illustrated in the flowchart (figure a), ranging from procuring raw materials to the sale and distribution of the finished products, are subject to strict audits and record-keeping to ensure they comply with European standards on quality, safety and traceability.

Anastore.com therefore implements a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system. The purpose of applying this HACCP system is to guarantee the safety of products for food consumption during their production, storage and distribution. Anastore.com also has a traceability system that guarantees that batches of raw materials and finished products can be accurately traced throughout production, packaging, storage and distribution to customers.

Finished product quality control

Once the manufacture of each product batch is complete, Anastore.com conducts strict quality controls before they are introduced to the market. These quality controls examine the packaging, labelling and look of the finished product, and verify its organoleptic properties and safety according to food safety criteria.

Anastore.com also monitors each batch of finished product throughout its shelf life, up to the recommended use-by date indicated on the packaging, to maintain the quality of our products.

Transparency and clarity of information

Anastore.com strives to offer its customers clear and transparent information about all its products on their labelling and the information found on its website.

The labelling of our products complies with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 and its subsequent amendments, for the assurance of a high level of consumer protection in relation to food information.

Unlike some competitors, the information on our website provides customers with important information about our raw materials and finished products, such as the percentage of active compounds and testing certificates for each batch of finished product, all of which are available to view online at the time of purchase.

Health registry

Anastore.com is registered on the Registry of Food Industry Companies (RGSEAA), whose purpose is to protect public health and consumer interests, under Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety (and subsequent amendments); and of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs (and subsequent amendments).

With its European vision of quality, Anastore.com notifies the placing on the market of food supplements to the competent authorities of the countries where they are marketed and sold.
