Moringa helps in times of exhaustion or intense physical activity.

Boost your daily energy with Moringa!

Periods of increased activity can leave the body feeling fatigued and lacking vitality. When it feels like day-to-day life is an uphill struggle, it’s wise to boost your daily diet with a dietary supplement that contains active compounds to help maintain energy and make it easier to continue your daily activities as normal.

Anastore now includes in its PLANTAE® catalogue a new product that helps in times of exhaustion or intense activity. This is Organic Moringa, a natural concentrate of this plant’s vitamins and minerals that comes in leaf powder form.

What type of plant is moringa?

The Moringa genus comprises several species, including Moringa oleifera Lam., which is native toIndia. Although it is cultivated worldwide because of its resistance to drought and frosts, it is widely used in phytotherapy as a source of essential nutrients1.

Moringa oleifera Lam. contains more vitamin C than oranges, a greater concentration of vitamin A than carrots, more calcium than milk, and more potassium than bananas. In addition, moringa contains 9 times more iron than spinach, and 4 times more fibre than oats2.

It is a highly prized tree because all its parts have beneficial properties: moringa seeds, roots, bark, sap and flowers are all widely used in traditional medicine, and the leaves and seed pods are used as food products.

Beneficial effects of moringa

This plant has one very distinctive feature: extracts of moringa leaves exhibit potent antioxidant activity. A number of studies have been published on whole powdered Moringa oleifera leaves that have demonstrated their anti-diabetic and anti-dyslipidemic properties. In other words, they help to prevent a high concentration of lipids3.

Recent studies have demonstrated that Moringa oleifera leaves have a wide range of biological properties which, in addition to their antioxidant properties, help to protect tissue and have analgaesic, anti-ulcer, anti-hypertensive, radioprotective and immunomodulatory properties. According to this research, the compounds responsible for the multiple health benefits of Moringa are polyphenols and flavonoids3.

Because of all these properties, Moringa is now recognised as one of the so-called ‘superfoods’, defined as offering high nutritional value with antioxidants, healthy fats and vitamins.

Moringa: a natural source of vitamins

This new product from Anastore’s PLANTAE® brand, made from organic moringa leaf powder, can help to enhance physical performance and protect the immune system.

This is because vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism4 and helps to protect cells from oxidative damage4.  As already explained, moringa contains a high concentration of active components.

Also very important is Moringa oleifera Lam.’s high vitamin A content, since vitamin A contributes to the normal function of the immune system5.

In addition, its composition is rich in6 minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, making this product an effective option for supplementing your daily diet, because these minerals play a very important role in the part of the cellular metabolism that stores and consumes the fuels the body needs to meet its energy needs7.
